Ask us not to show your name

We publish property ownership from public records, including the names of individual owners. If being named here puts you at risk — from an abusive former partner, a stalker, or because of your work — tell us and we will withhold your name.

What we need, and what we don’t

  • Tell us which page shows your name, and that being named creates a safety risk. You do not need to prove it.
  • Please do not send court orders, police reports or medical records. We are not equipped to store them safely, and we do not need them to say yes.
  • We will not tell anyone who asked. Requests are not published and do not appear on any profile.

What withholding does. Your name stops appearing anywhere on the site, including on every company we have linked to you. The property itself stays listed, and any public enforcement record against it stays visible — those are about a building, and tenants rely on them. If you want a record corrected rather than a name withheld, use the corrections form instead.

If you can’t find it, describe the name and address instead.

The only thing we ask for. Use an address that is safe for you to receive mail at.

You do not need an account, and you do not need to be the person named — someone helping you may send this on your behalf.
