Request a correction
If something on this site is wrong — an ownership record, a violation, a landlord profile, or a review you believe is false — tell us here. You do not need an account, and you do not need to be the subject.
How we handle it
Every request is logged with the date we received it. We acknowledge within 3 business days and aim to decide within 14 days.
Public records. We show what the District published. If our copy differs from the source we fix it. If the source itself is wrong, we will say so on the page and link your correction — but the authoritative fix has to come from the agency, and we will tell you which one.
Reviews. We do not remove a review because its subject disagrees with it. We do remove reviews shown to be false, and we log it when we do. If you are the landlord, you can also claim your profile and post a public response — that is usually faster and it is seen by everyone who reads the review.
Personal information. If your name or home address appears here and you are a private individual rather than a business, tell us and we will remove it. We suppress individual owners’ names by default, but no automated rule catches everything. If being named here puts you at risk, use the safety request form instead — it goes to a person, not a queue.
If you disagree with our decision
Say so and we will escalate it. Requests that raise a legal question we cannot answer ourselves go to counsel rather than being decided by whoever read the form.
Preservation
When a request or dispute is on foot we preserve the relevant records, including authorship data, and do not delete them on the usual schedule. That protects everyone’s ability to establish what was actually published and when.
